My only regret is that we haven't came sooner! I've had this place bookmarked for about 2 years and I finally decided to pull the trigger as a late Valentine's Day gift. If you're on the fence, don't think about it anymore and just book it. 100/10 would recommend. I was blown away by the magicians! Loved this place. A+ on the magic. Wow. I had to really take a moment or few afterwards because my mind was so blow away. It was a 45 min drive from our home but well worth the time. This is a family owned establishment that is highly committed to giving their guests a highly entertaining night. If it's a special event or a birthday, even better. Service was very friendly and highly attentive. Food was certainly good enough. Thank you CMDT for a great experience!

What an experience, from the moment we stepped into the venue, we felt like we time traveled and knew we were in for a special night. The ambiance was elegant yet mysterious, setting the perfect stage for an evening of dinner and magic. All the magicians were so charming and worked the room as we started dinner. The headliner that night was Larry Wilson and he was not only a master of illusion but also a captivating storyteller, seamlessly weaving humor, audience interaction, and mind-blowing tricks into the performance. From astonishing sleight of hand to impossible predictions, every act left us in awe, questioning reality and eagerly anticipating what would come next. The show was perfectly paced, ensuring that there was never a dull moment, and Larry's charisma kept the audience engaged throughout. This dinner magic show was a truly immersive experience. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer in magic, this show will leave you amazed. Dinner was not the best, but it was worth every dollar spent. I highly recommend it for a date night, a special celebration, or simply an unforgettable evening out. Five stars!

First Experience At Cal Magic Dinner Theater was Great! As you are seated. The entertainers come by your table and show you a little of magic show while you're waiting for your 3 courses meal to come. Total overall is 3 hours long. Non alcoholic drinks comes with Free Refills. Highly Recommended. You can also bring your kids age 10 and over. Just hope they can sit down for 3 hours. Very cute for what it is. Not supperrr amazing magic but lol they seem to have regulars... They got me tho.. good The food was not great. Very easy though to put uut fast to a crowd. So don't go for the food? Go for the show and with good company :) It's fun regardless and all the people that work there are family and hold it together:). Adorable place. So glad I went. Would def be fun with a rowdy group

A group of 10 of us went to see the show for my birthday. Honestly, not one of the 10 people are let's say into magic. Couple of them actually had plans on seeing what they could disprove. Was absolutely so fun for all the attended a very unique set up in the way that they seat you feed you and entertain you. I cannot more highly recommend trying this even if you're certain you're not gonna enjoy it I promise you you will. Food was good service was fantastic entertainment during all aspects of the dinner and show were amazing. Go with a group you will have an absolute blast. My party ranged in ages from 25 to 65 and rightfully so one member in particular of the crowd picked on by the entertainment. Presto-chango à la Kazaam.

My husband and I were looking for something different to do for our anniversary date. He found this, and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. It was such a fun experience. The place is small and intimate. Before the show, there are 3-4 magicians that come by table side to do a few magic tricks. It's not just one of them that come by, and that's it. They take turns coming to each table, so you get 3-4 table side shows. My husband and I were lucky enough to each a playing card that was used in the trick as souvenir. Then dinner starts. No entertainment during dinner, which was nice, so we can enjoy dinner. The food was good. It's a set menu. Everyone gets a small plate of dessert. Last call for drinks at the end of dinner before the show starts. There was an opening act, which was already fun to watch, then Dave Cox, the main act. He was an amazing mix of comedy and magic. There wasn't a moment all night where I felt bored. I was engaged the whole evening. This definitely met our goal of finding something different that was a lot of fun. This place deserves more than 5 stars!!!

Magic? Yes, magic! Dinner? Yes, dinner and both were fantastic! This magical evening took place in downtown Martinez, as the sun was going down. The doors don't open until 7:30 p.m. I was super excited to be here for a belated birthday gift with my two favorite people! They've seen my reactions to magic and great foods, but never at the same time! It's a supper club. An intimate setting with the walls covered with memorabilia of many great magicians! We sat at our table for three while others were in larger groups, plus a couple sat together at their own tables. 40 people maximum for this rich experience and all seats are perfect for eating dinner and watching magic tricks! The night was so fun! The magic tricks start fairly quickly after being seated and ordering drinks and specifying the type of salad dressing you prefer. Each table get a different magic trick performed by any one of 4 different masters of magic. Then, dinner starts to roll out one course at a time. There was also bread. We were then served the main course of tender slices of tri tip, a chicken breast, really well seasoned green beans and enough of the delicious rice. Keep in mind that as we eat, we are being blown away by magic tricks being performed very up close and personal! Did you see that??? We were amazed!!! These guys were great! The headliner was a journeyman magician and his mastery of tricks was on full display as he amazed everyone in the room! We've got to get back there again, without fail. Great food, great fun and I can't get enough of either! Jerry, thank you for sharing your gift of magic!
